Adam J. Kurtz, a talented graphic designer and artist based in NY, has created a series of GIFs that are perfect for calming you down after a long day’s work or getting you motivated for one. Each soothing GIF is paired with an inspirational quote or mantra that Kurtz found by asking his Twitter followers for suggestions.
Art must be cruel about the things that we skip. We forget to be happy and act positively about our life due to high expectations coming from the modern world imposition. Steve Cutts, an illustrator from London, reminded us how the real world seems from an artist view. It is partly correct, so instead of continuous consuming, we must not forget;
- to do the things we love.
- to wake up happy.
- to win the stress and anxiety.
- to remember friends & family
- to find someone to love.
And, these are easy if you think. Below is the original content from Bored Panda.
Art isn’t all fairytale photoshoots and landscape shots – it can also act as catalyst of change. And Steve Cutts thinks that many things in the world should be different. Work shouldn’t be a grinding, soul-crushing rat race for the almighty dollar. Consumerism shouldn’t hold a vice-like grip on our lives. And social media, well, we need to throw-off the shackles we so eagerly put on ourselves. Wouldn’t life be better then?
Steve Cutts is an illustrator and animator from London. Faced with the choice of working at McDonalds or studying Fine Arts, he chose the latter. He worked at Glueisobar as the main storyboard concept artist before making the leap to freelance work. Cutts makes videos and images that criticize modern life – he states that insanity of humanity is an endless pool of inspiration.

Japanese illustrator Maori Sakai creates charming and beautiful gifs that capture warm and pleasant everyday moments as looped gif animations. Some of the gifs are simply cheery everyday moments, while others are a bit silly, looking like they might have been inspired by Monty Python’s animations.
“There’s beauty in nature and in daily experiences,” Sakai told mymodernmet. “I think most people depend on others or a lot of money to feel this happiness, but I think, happiness is always a state of mind.”

Unsplash.com is another free high resolution stock photo website that i am also using for my blog, website and presentations. 10 of the photos are below.
500px is one of the most impressive photography websites with the beautiful user interface and high resolution photography stock capabilities. I have placed my best shots there 2 years ago. I took these shots with my iPhone 4S and Google Nexus. They were nice although photography technology was not that good at that time. And i think, i used Camera+ app to edit & add effects to the photos. There were all amazing memories.
I saw an amazing post at Bored Panda today, and i wanted to save these great bird's-eye shots of the popular destinations & landmarks.
